Soccer Game Preview: Hoover vs. Arcadia

The Hoover Tornados will head out on the road to square off against the Arcadia Apaches at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday. Hoover's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Hoover fell victim to Pasadena and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Arcadia had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Mustangs. That's two games straight that Arcadia have won by just one goal.

Arcadia's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Hoover, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8-1.
