Softball Recap: Ridgefield Tigers vs. Enfield Eagles
With a playoff win on the line, Ridgefield rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Enfield Eagles 5-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.
Caitlin McGratty spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on six hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances.
