Baseball Recap: Wauseon Takes a Loss

If Wauseon was riding high fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Edon on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians lost 17-4 to the Napoleon Wildcats on Saturday. The Indians were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Wauseon has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Napoleon, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5-1 record this season.

Wauseon will take on Defiance at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Napoleon, they will challenge Ross at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Little Giants will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
