Loganville entered their tilt with Monroe Area on Tuesday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They came out on top against the Purple Hurricanes by a score of 2-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-1 victory back in August.

Loganville easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-21.

Katie Brand was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had six aces and three digs. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.

Brand wasn't the only good server: Loganville was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 11 consecutive contests.

Loganville's record now sits at 21-15. As for Monroe Area, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-23.

Looking ahead, Loganville will challenge Jackson County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Monroe Area, they will venture away from home to take on Madison County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
