Volleyball Recap: Salem Academy Charter Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Salem Academy Charter dropped their record down to 9-5 on Thursday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins at home. They lost 3-0 to the Pioneer Charter School of Science Panthers. The shutout was out of character for the Navigator seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

As for Pioneer Charter School of Science, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2. They haven't had any issues with Salem Academy Charter recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Pioneer Charter School of Science was led to victory by Miguel Silva and Patrick Dang. Silva had 13 assists and two aces, while Dang had seven kills and one block. That's the most aces Silva has posted over his last six contests.

As of now, neither Salem Academy Charter nor Pioneer Charter School of Science have any future games scheduled.
