Basketball Recap: McComb Comes Up Short

McComb lost against Fort Jennings back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The McComb Panthers fell just short of the Fort Jennings Musketeers by a score of 37-34. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 755th, while the Musketeers are ranked 247th).

McComb's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Fort Jennings, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

McComb has already played their next match (against Ada), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Fort Jennings will head out on the road to take on Ottoville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
