Basketball Recap: Open Bible Christian Sets Scoring Season-High Against Corinth Christian Academy

Open Bible Christian scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 72-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Corinth Christian Academy Warriors. Open Bible Christian was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Corinth Christian Academy earlier this season, when they won 34-33.

Open Bible Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Campbell Avant, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 boards. Troy DeDios was another key player, going 5 for 11 en route to 20 points and five assists.
