Princeton and Rock Falls are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. Princeton is taking a road trip to challenge Rock Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Princeton is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 14 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against LaSalle-Peru on Tuesday. They came up short against the Cavaliers, falling 10-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered since April 30, 2024.

Princeton got a good showing from Reese Reviglio, who tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits.

Meanwhile, Rock Falls lost 9-3 to Kewanee on Tuesday.

Maddison Morgan was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. She also brought in an RBI, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jeslyn Krueger, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Rock Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Princeton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Princeton came out on top in a nail-biter against Rock Falls in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will Princeton repeat their success, or does Rock Falls has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
