Friday just wasn't the day for Englewood's offense. They were dealt a 49-0 defeat at the hands of the Strasburg Indians on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado football rankings (they are ranked 149th, while the Indians are ranked 47th).

Strasburg's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. Englewood has already played their next contest, a 42-14 loss against Elizabeth on the 24th. As for Strasburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 33-7 victory against Kent Denver on the 25th.
