Alak falls despite strong effort from Josiah Henry

Recap: Alak Huskies vs. Nunamiut Amaguq
After flying high against the Kali Wolverines last Friday, the Alak Huskies came back down to earth. Alak was dealt a 82-48 defeat at the hands of Nunamiut on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Alak has suffered against Nunamiut since February 16, 2019.
Despite the loss, Alak still got an impressive performance from Josiah Henry, who scored 22 points. Paul Okpeaha was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Alak's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Nunamiut, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Alak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Nunamiut will head out on the road to take on Non Varsity Opponent at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday. Non Varsity Opponent is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home.
