Volleyball Recap: Lower Merion Takes a Loss

Lower Merion was the 3-1 winner over Academy at Palumbo when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Aces fell 3-1 to the Griffin on Friday. The Aces have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Lower Merion started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-17, 25-15, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Lower Merion still got an impressive performance from Josephine Huh, who had nine digs and one assist.

Lower Merion's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Academy at Palumbo, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2.

Lower Merion does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Academy at Palumbo, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Franklin Towne on the 22nd.
