The Johnson County Longhorns are taking a road trip to  challenge the Abingdon Falcons  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Johnson County will be strutting in after a  win while Abingdon will be coming in after a  defeat.
While Johnson County's  victory against Chuckey-Doak wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Longhorns had just enough and edged out the Black Knights  16-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Longhorns have posted  against the Black Knights since August 31, 2017.
 A big part of Johnson County's  victory came down to the chemistry between  Johnathan Lisi and his top target  Chris Wilson. Lisi rushed for 83 yards and one  score while  Wilson picked up 96 receiving yards and one  TD. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 85 yards.
 Meanwhile, Abingdon might've scored the first points on Friday, but it was Tennessee who claimed the real prize. The Falcons were dealt  a  43-7 loss at the hands of the Vikings. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
 The  win made it two in a row for Johnson County and  bumps their season record up to 3-3. The  victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 28  points in those games. As for Abingdon, they now  have a losing record of 2-3.
