Recap: Lexington vs. North Stanly
On Thursday, the Lexington Yellowjackets kept a clean sheet against the North Stanly Comets. They had just enough and edged the Comets out 1-0. Lexington's winning goal came courtesy of Yasmin Salas.
Lexington now has a winning record of 2-1. As for North Stanly, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Lexington will be playing in front of their home fans against Ledford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Stanly is on the road again on Friday and plays Concord at 6:00 p.m. on March 1st.
