Asheboro extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Eva Vuncannon. The Blue Comets put the hurt on the Northeast Guilford Rams with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday with plenty of help from Vuncannon, who had 14 aces and 11 assists. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last three times she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Asheboro took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-9, 25-13.

Asheboro's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Northeast Guilford, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.
