Flag Football Recap: Chatfield Takes Down Poudre School District in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Chatfield had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They pulled ahead with a 15-14 photo finish over the Poudre School District Stars. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Chargers have posted since October 9, 2024.

Chatfield didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Ellie Buck. She has been hot for a while, having also posted at least one defended passe the last 20 times she's played.

The victory got Chatfield back to even at 8-8. As for Poudre School District, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 12-3 record.

Chatfield has already played their next matchup, a 29-6 loss against Ralston Valley on the 18th. Poudre School District does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
