             Edmund Burke Academy is 1-9 against Brentwood since September of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Wednesday. The Edmund Burke Academy Spartans will take on the Brentwood War Eagles at 5:30  p.m. Brentwood took a loss in their last  match and will be looking to turn the tables on Edmund Burke Academy, who comes in off a win.
 Edmund Burke Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have all season. They blew past Gatewood 18-9 on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Spartans considering their one-run performance the  game before.
  Kensy Felix made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out seven batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and eight unearned) runs off   seven  hits. What's more,  she also racked up  no  strikeouts, the fewestshe's  had since back in August. She was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news, Edmund Burke Academy let  Leila Eastmead and  Addison Riggs loose on the outfield. Eastmead  went 2-for-5 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles, while  Riggs  went 2-for-4 with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI. What's more,  Eastmead also posted a .500  OBP, which is the highestshe's  posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was  Sadie Chance, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-5.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Edmund Burke Academy was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .375. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
 Brentwood might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  5-2 to Georgia Military College, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The War Eagles have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 The  victory made it two in a row for Edmund Burke Academy and  bumps their season record up to 10-6. As for Brentwood, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.
 Edmund Burke Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Brentwood in their previous matchup  two weeks ago, sneaking past  1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Edmund Burke Academy since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
