The Crosby Cougars will be playing at home against the Nederland Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Crosby will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
Last Tuesday, Crosby was able to grind out a solid win over Port Neches-Groves, taking the game 42-33.
Dylan Banks was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 16 points. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played.
Meanwhile, Nederland didn't have too much trouble with Port Neches-Groves at home on Friday as they won 53-36. Given Nederland's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while Port Neches-Groves is ranked 555th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Crosby's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-14. As for Nederland, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.
