Baseball Game Preview: Princeton Tigers vs. Albany Warriors

The Princeton Tigers will head out to take on the Albany Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last seven games Princeton has played (dating back to last season) have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Tuesday. Princeton might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 8-7 to Brashear, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss continues a trend for Princeton in their meetings with Brashear: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Albany sidestepped Tarkio for a 9-8 win. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by just one run.

The victory got Albany back to even at 4-4. As for Princeton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Everything went Princeton's way against Albany when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Princeton made off with a 15-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
