Basketball Recap: Bald Eagle Area Comes Up Short

Bald Eagle Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers, falling 75-49. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-37 back in December of 2024.

Bald Eagle Area's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Hollidaysburg, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-2 record this season.

Bald Eagle Area wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-40 defeat against Huntingdon on the 10th. As for Hollidaysburg, they have also already played their next contest, a 74-32 victory against Philipsburg-Osceola on the 10th.
