Preview: Lincoln Christian Bulldogs vs. Bristow Pirates
Lincoln Christian is on a 12-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Bristow is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Lincoln Christian Bulldogs will take on the Bristow Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 319 points over their last six games.
Lincoln Christian stacked a ninth blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Locust Grove 55-16 on the road. Given Lincoln Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked fourth, while Locust Grove is ranked 163rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Luke Milligan was the offensive standout of the matchup as he threw for 149 yards and four touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes. Moses Fullingim was another key contributor, gaining 64 total yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Bristow sidestepped Central for a 28-26 win.
Their wins bumped Lincoln Christian to 10-0 and Bristow to 5-5.
Everything came up roses for Lincoln Christian against Bristow in their previous meeting back in November of 2022 as the squad secured a 68-19 victory. Will Lincoln Christian repeat their success, or does Bristow have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
