Basketball Recap: Heber Springs Triumphs

Heber Springs hadn't done well against Clinton recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Heber Springs Panthers came out on top against the Clinton Yellowjackets by a score of 61-54. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 57-53 win the Yellowjackets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

The victory got Heber Springs back to even at 12-12. As for Clinton, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-12.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Pulaski Academy the next time they take the court. Clinton will head out to face Pulaski Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Heber Springs will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
