Soccer Recap: Greenville Comes Up Short

After flying high against West Middlesex on Tuesday, Greenville came back down to earth. The Trojans came up short against the Mercer Mustangs on Thursday, falling 5-1. The loss continues a trend for Greenville in their meetings with Mercer: they've now lost four in a row.

Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for Mercer, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenville will head out to square off against Conneaut Area at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mercer, they will venture away from home to challenge Mohawk Area at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
