Soccer Game Preview: West Catholic vs. Wyoming

West Catholic is a perfect 3-0 against Wyoming since May of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Falcons will welcome Wolves at 6:45 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

West Catholic is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Friday, they were much more limited against South Christian on Monday. They came up short against the Sailors, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, West Catholic can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 199th, while South Christian are ranked 21st).

Meanwhile, Wyoming was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to Wayland.

West Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-3. As for Wyoming, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.

Everything went West Catholic's way against Wyoming in their previous meeting back in April, as West Catholic made off with a 7-0 win. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
