Basketball Recap: Williamstown Gets the Win

Williamstown won the last time they faced Stowe, and Evan Bailey did his part to make sure it happened again. The Williamstown Blue Devils took down the Stowe Raiders 70-51 on Monday thanks in part to Bailey, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in January of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Nick Mascitti, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 8.5 boards per game.

The victory got Williamstown back to even at 2-2. As for Stowe, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Williamstown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-43 loss against Twinfield on the 3rd. As for Stowe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 82-38 defeat against Danville on the 3rd.
