Football Recap: Crisp Academy Takes a Loss

Crisp Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Citizens Christian Academy Patriots 49-0.

Dalton Rogers produced another solid effort rushing for 114 yards and two TDs for Citizens Christian Academy. That's the most rushing touchdowns Rogers has posted since back in August.

Crisp Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Citizens Christian Academy, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Crisp Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Georgia Christian at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Citizens Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Vidalia Heritage Academy at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th. The Patriots will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games.
