Volleyball Recap: Cambridge Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Cambridge entered their tilt with Bellaire on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Big Reds. The game was the first time the Bobcats have beaten the Big Reds on their court since August 30, 2021.

Cambridge had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-16, 25-17, 25-13.

Cambridge's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Bellaire, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cambridge will host Edison at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bellaire, they will welcome St. Clairsville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
