Shorecrest waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 8-7 W against the King's Knights. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Scots have posted since April 9, 2024.

Shorecrest let Ian Hamilton and Quinn Burnham run wild. Hamilton scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while Burnham went 3-for-5 with four RBI.

Shorecrest's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for King's, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shorecrest will square off against Snohomish at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for King's, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Overlake at 5:00 p.m. on April 9.
