Baseball Recap: Southside Takes a Loss

Southside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 9-5 to the Fort Payne Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly four runs.

Southside's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Fort Payne, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southside will face off against Springville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Fort Payne, they will venture away from home to face off against Gadsden City at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
