Couch is 0-3 against Bunker since October of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Couch Indians will head out to challenge the Bunker Eagles at 5:00 p.m.
Couch is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Winona just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Indians have suffered since September 14th.
The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-5, 25-15.
Meanwhile, Bunker made easy work of Clearwater on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.
Bunker never let Clearwater on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-14, 25-17.
Bunker can attribute much of their success to Maddy Dickerson, who had 14 digs.
Couch's loss dropped their record down to 11-6-2. As for Bunker, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6-3.
