Ripley extended their road winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Matthew Stellato. The Ripley Vikings strolled past the Riverside Warriors with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 72-54 with plenty of help from Stellato, who shot 60% from beyond the arc to rack up 20 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Cade Mccoy also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assists of the season. Those two assists gave him a new career-high.

Riverside's loss came despite strong showings from Bryer Mullins and Josh Brock. Mullins went 8-for-19 en route to 22 points and three steals, while Brock shot 44% from the field on his way to 15 points along with six rebounds and five steals. The matchup was Mullins' third in a row with at least 21 points. Brycen Slack was another key player, putting up four points in addition to seven assists and six boards.

Ripley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points over those games. Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 6-16.

Ripley and Riverside are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Ripley will be playing at home against PikeView at 7:00 p.m. on March 7th. Ripley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.5 points per game this season. As for Riverside, they will venture away from home to take on Woodrow Wilson at 7:00 p.m. on March 7th.
