Softball Recap: Long Island City's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Long Island City had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Bryant Owls by a score of 13-10. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-4 back in April.

Long Island City pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.5 runs over those games. As for Bryant, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
