Volleyball Game Preview: Ottawa Pirates vs. Sandwich Indians + How To Watch

The Ottawa Pirates will face off against the Sandwich Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ottawa is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Ottawa came up short against LaSalle-Peru and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Sandwich, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Woodstock on Wednesday, sneaking past 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted since September 15th.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Sandwich got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-17, 21-25, 25-11.

Ottawa better focus on containing Bailey Frieders and Khloe White as the pair were huge in Sandwich's win. Frieders had 14 digs, while White had 11 digs and one block. The dominant performance also gave White a new career-high in assists (18).

Sandwich's win bumped their record up to 7-20. As for Ottawa, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-20-2.
