Baseball Recap: Lake Mills' Undefeated Season over After Six Games

Lake Mills lost against New Glarus back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The L-Cats took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Glarner Knights. The loss was the L-Cats' first of the season.

Max Stelter was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Alex Parys also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lake Mills fell to 5-1. As for New Glarus, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

When Lake Mills and New Glarus next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The L-Cats will challenge Cambridge and their three-game winning streak at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, New Glarus will try to stop Wisconsin Heights' four-game winning streak when they meet at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
