Kirtland Central lost to Bloomfield back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Kirtland Central Broncos walked away with a 45-36 victory over the Bloomfield Bobcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Broncos.

Bloomfield lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Xavier Abernathy, who posted eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Elijah Cooks was another key player, going 5 of 8 en route to 11 points.

Kirtland Central's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Bloomfield, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 11-10 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kirtland Central will welcome Gallup at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bloomfield, they will be playing at home against Shiprock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
