Bourgade Catholic's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 28-0 margin over San Tan Foothills. Winning may never get old, but the Golden Eagles sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

The team relied heavily on Esther Quezada, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. Those five hits gave her a new career-high. Riley McManness was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI.

Castaneda has been hot recently, having posted at least one triple the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ellie Dudley, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.
Bourgade Catholic's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-7. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.0 runs over those games. As for Benjamin Franklin, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season.
Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Bourgade Catholic hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .417. However, it's not like Benjamin Franklin struggles in that department as they've averaged .457. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
