Baseball Recap: Westbrook Gets the Win

Westbrook saw some tournament action on Thursday. They walked away with an 11-7 win over the Coahoma Bulldogs.

Westbrook got a massive performance out of Judah Chavez, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Chavez also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Gaven Hall, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-2.

Westbrook was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .542. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Westbrook now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Coahoma, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Westbrook will face off against MacArthur at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Coahoma, they will challenge Lamesa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
