Mitchell waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Northeast Vikings. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Mitchell was led to victory by Maddie Bruno and Emma Hatzistefanou. Bruno had nine digs, while Hatzistefanou had 14 assists. That's the most digs Bruno has posted since back in August.

Mitchell's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Northeast, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.

Mitchell has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Clearwater Central Catholic on the 4th. As for Northeast, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Tampa Bay HEAT on the 4th.
