Volleyball Recap: Carley Leal's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Antonian Prep over Reagan

Antonian Prep lost against Reagan on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Apaches took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rattlers.

Antonian Prep lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Carley Leal, who had 12 digs. Camilla Serna was another key player, getting 12 assists and four digs.

Antonian Prep's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Reagan, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Antonian Prep will take on La Vernia at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Reagan, they will venture away from home to challenge Long Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rattlers are facing the Dragons at the right time seeing as the Dragons are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
