Football Recap: Pardeeville Comes Up Short

Pardeeville was the 42-0 winner over Poynette when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a blow against the Pumas on Friday, falling 41-6. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Pardeeville is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Poynette, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Pardeeville will square off against rival Waterloo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Poynette is set to face off against their familiar foe Markesan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Pumas 11.2, the Hornets 10.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
