Basketball Recap: South Lyon Comes Up Short

South Lyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 52-45 to the Farmington Falcons. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 375th, while the Falcons are ranked 115th).

South Lyon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Farmington, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

South Lyon will head out to challenge Hartland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Farmington, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Troy at 7:00 p.m.
