Soccer Game Preview: Middle Tennessee Christian vs. Friendship Christian

The Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars will head out to square off against the Friendship Christian Commanders at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Middle Tennessee Christian has given up an average of 4.3 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Middle Tennessee Christian challenged Franklin Road Academy on Tuesday. The Cougars came up short against the Panthers, falling 8-0. The defeat continues a trend for Middle Tennessee Christian in their meetings with Franklin Road Academy: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in March, Friendship Christian was forced to settle for a draw last Tuesday. They and Mount Juliet Christian Academy finished up their match with a 1-1 draw.

Friendship Christian's goal came courtesy of Cooper Vander Pol, who's now up to four this season.

Middle Tennessee Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-9-2. Friendship Christian's draw makes their record 4-6-2 this season.
