Soccer Game Preview: Daniel vs. Blue Ridge

The Daniel Lions will face off against the Blue Ridge Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Blue Ridge took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Daniel, who comes in off a win.

Daniel is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Pickens get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Wednesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Meanwhile, Blue Ridge came up short against Greer on Monday, falling 10-1. The defeat continues a trend for Blue Ridge in their meetings with Greer: they've now lost eight in a row.

The victory made it two in a row for Daniel and bumps their season record up to 4-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two matches. As for Blue Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Daniel got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Blue Ridge by a conclusive 11-0 score. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
