Marquez Wimberly Delivers Electric Performance Vs Bethlehem Catholic
Starting off the list is Nazareth Area's Marquez Wimberly, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Wimberly rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also caught a touchdown. His longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The victory (which was Nazareth Area's third in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Wimberly and Nazareth Area will welcome Northampton on Friday.

Dorian Thomas Delivers Best Performance of Season
Dorian Thomas produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Easton Area to the win on Friday. Thomas rushed for 154 yards and three touchdowns. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023.
Thomas is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Freedom on Friday. Thomas rushed for 158 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Patriots duked it out back in October of 2023.

Easton Area picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Cole Ordway. Nobody could stop Ordway as he threw for 135 yards and two touchdowns while completing 90% of his passes, and also rushed for 94 yards on only ten carries. Those 94 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
On the year, Ordway has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 139.8 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 48.95 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 108.09 passer rating.

Naquan Thomason Has Career-Day on Saturday
Naquan Thomason posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Saturday. He rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 54 yards.
The victory was the sixth in a row for Parkland, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. Thomason and Parkland will take on Whitehall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
