Basketball Recap: Graceville Comes Up Short

Graceville was the 58-52 winner over Bozeman when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Graceville Tigers fell to the Bozeman Bucks 59-53.

Despite the loss, Graceville still got an impressive performance from Bryson Reynolds, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. Reynolds has been hot recently, having posted nine or more boards the last four times he's played. Jaylin Washington was another key player, putting up eight points.

Bozeman's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cash Zirkle led the charge by going 8 of 18 on his way to 19 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jamie Hernandez, who went 5 for 7 en route to 13 points.

Graceville's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Bozeman, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6.

Graceville will face off against Vernon at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Bozeman has already played their next matchup (against Chipley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
