Mt. Carmel had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the St. Michael Warriors by a score of 10-5. The Cubs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Mt. Carmel's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for St. Michael, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coming up, Mt. Carmel will host Slidell at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Michael, they will square off against St. Thomas Aquinas at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 10.9 runs per game this season.
