Cordova moved up to 187 from 244 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in AAA District 14. The Wolves climbed the ranks as a result of besting Kirby 49-12.

Cordova took down the Cougars 49-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Charles Taylor ran for 139 yards during the win.

Anthony Jones, Jr.'s team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Micah Moreland threw for 25 yards and Xavier Johnson had 32 yards receiving.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Arlington takes on Bartlett. As it stands, the Tigers are in first, while the Panthers are in fifth.

Millington Central and Brighton played the most contested game in the league this week, with Millington Central eventually emerging with a 34-28 victory.
