In what's become a running theme this season, the First Baptist Academy Eagles gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They put the hurt on River City Believers Academy with a sharp 58-37 win. The victory was nothing new for First Baptist Academy as they're now sitting on three straight.

It was another big night for Timothy De La Rosa, who scored 24 points. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Napier, who scored 14 points.

When it comes to explaining why River City Believers Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Lukas Cox. Despite the final result, he scored 12 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cox has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Brennen McGuire, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.

First Baptist Academy pushed their record up to 9-8 with that win, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 36.33 points. As for River City Believers Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. First Baptist Academy will stay at home for another game and welcome Gloria Deo Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. River City Believers Academy will take on McCauley Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
