Mt. Vernon is 9-1 against Pendleton Heights since August of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Marauders will square off against the Arabians at 6:00 p.m. Pendleton Heights took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Mt. Vernon, who comes in off a win.

On Saturday, Mt. Vernon beat NorthWood 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Marauders.

Mt. Vernon got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Amelia Anderson out in front who had 11 assists and six digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubry Dowling, who had ten digs.

Meanwhile, Pendleton Heights came up short against Muncie Burris on Wednesday and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-22, 20-25, 25-21.

Pendleton Heights now has a losing record of 15-16. As for Mt. Vernon, their win bumped their record up to 19-9.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's matchup: Mt. Vernon has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6.8 aces per game. However, it's not like Pendleton Heights struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.6 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.

Everything went Mt. Vernon's way against Pendleton Heights in their previous meeting back in August, as Mt. Vernon made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Marauders since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
