Volleyball Recap: Crosspoint Christian Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Julie Liggett and Ava Cobb

Crosspoint Christian lost against Eagle Ridge Christian back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Crosspoint Christian fell just short of Eagle Ridge Christian by a score of 3-2.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Crosspoint Christian sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 20-25, 25-19, 23-25, 15-4.

Crosspoint Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Ava Cobb and Julie Liggett. Cobb had ten aces and nine kills, while Liggett had 14 kills and three aces. Liggett has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last six times she's played.

Crosspoint Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Eagle Ridge Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
