It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Warrior Run had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the North Penn-Liberty Mountie a 5-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Warrior Run, who have now won seven matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

The victory snapped Warrior Run's losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 9-9-1 record. As for North Penn-Liberty, they moved to 10-8-1 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Warrior Run wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 5-0 defeat against Lewisburg on the 25th. North Penn-Liberty does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
